Welcome to Mara Wellness

Yoga made for the way children actually move

Children's yoga isn't grown-up yoga made smaller β€” it's its own wonderful thing. Our in-person classes blend movement, stories, songs, games and quiet moments, so children experience yoga the way they experience the world: through play.

From first wobbly steps to the last year of primary school, every session is shaped around the age and stage of the children on the mat. No pressure, no perfect poses β€” just a nurturing space where your child feels safe to explore, express and unwind.

Why children's yoga

More than just touching their toes

The skills children practise on the mat β€” breathing, balance, patience, kindness β€” are skills they carry everywhere else.

Body confidence

Children discover what their amazing bodies can do β€” no scores, no winning, just growing stronger and more coordinated at their own pace.

Calm big feelings

Simple breathing and relaxation games give children practical tools to settle worries, wobbles and whirlwind emotions.

Focus & resilience

Holding a pose, following a story and trying again all nurture concentration and a gentle β€œI can” attitude that carries into everyday life.

Friendship & fun

Classes are joyful, social spaces where children laugh together, help each other and feel part of a friendly group.

Better rest

Many families find the winding-down skills from class help little ones (and big ones!) relax and sleep more easily.

A gentle start

Every child is met exactly where they are. Shy, wiggly, cautious or bold β€” all are welcome on the mat.
